| The Shinkengers exist to protect the world from the Gedoushu, demonic beings from the Sanzu River, who plan to flood out world. Takeru Shiba, Shuriken Red, is the Eighteenth head of the Shiba line and descendant of a line of feudal lords. He must be protected by his four vassals and headquartered at his house, the Shinkenger team use the kanji-power called 'Mojikara' to combat the Gedoushu and draw their powers from the elements. They have pocket-sized creatures called Origami, who grow giant to fight big adversaries. They are mentored by Shiba's protector Hikoma Kusakabe. |
