Dai Sentai Goggle-V

Dai Sentai Goggle V is the sixth Super Sentai series. Historically, it is noted for achieving some of the highest broadcast ratings of the 1980s, though it remained primarily popular with children rather than the older tokusatsu fanbase, a phenomenon often compared to Ultraman Taro.

The story begins when Dr. Hideki Hongo, founder of the Future Science Laboratory, discovers that the Dark Science Empire Deathdark has mobilized at Wolfborg Castle in Germany. After being rescued from an ambush by world explorer Ken'ichi Akama, Hongo returns to Japan. Using the Comboyputer, he selects five elite individuals to form the Great Task Force Goggle V.

Following the failure of Deathdark's initial Mozoo and Kong pairings, Fuehrer Taboo resurrects Grand Marshal Deathmark, who ruthlessly restructures the empire by executing Doctors Zazoriya and Igaana. As Deathdark deploys Super Synthetic Beasts, the team counters with the Goggle Golden Spear.

In the final escalation, Deathmark utilizes the super energy Hightron to power the Dark Cannon and destroy the Goggle V base. However, the team rallies from a hidden facility to invade the moving fortress Deathtopia.

The conflict concludes as Fuehrer Taboo reveals his ultimate form, only to be destroyed by Goggle Robo's Earth Sword Electron Galaxy Cut.
